Janet collection: perm zinnia wig review

So right around Christmas time I was contacted by janet collection on Facebook to do a review on there new pre dyed wigs. One of the reasons  why I wanted to get my hands on this wig is of course the color, color, color!
But also to give you guys more options when you want some more color or just want to rock something more fun and creative.  I first off wanna let you guys know yes this wig is very very colorful but it can definitely be wearable maybe a night out or an event. Now you may not be able to go to work, school, or a job interview with these kind of colors depending on your profession but for me I'm a makeup artist and hair stylist so yes I would wear this to work, outside, etc. Because I love color and being creative.  some important keys to remember about this wig is first it's a full cap wig so your getting no parting space or lace which I really don't mind, secondly the hair is really soft and lastly the color job on this wig is really amazing because it's not only an ombre color wig but the colors are very well blended and merry together.  Overall I am very satisfied with this unit and janet collection as a company, as well as the customer service is awesome I received this wig in about 3 days on Christmas eve which made a perfect christmas gift for me. I will definitely buy this unit since in the collection they do have more styles and colors to choose from.

Wig review: sensationnel empress easy 5 synthetic hair lace front edge L part wig- easy 5 loose

Here are some features on this unit:

length: "22-24" inches
Color: 1b
Color on model: DX2688
Divalicious and vivacious style can be accomplished with voluminous curls with "L" parting closure.
This is a 2 way series s so you can wear it how it comes or cut out the lace and blend your own hair for a more natural look.

Purchased this unit from wigtypes.com on their black friday sale e original price is $34.99 but I got it for $21.00
The unit may still be on sale since the website is having a after Christmas sale starting from dec. 22- dec 26. No promo code needed.

So my feelings on this unit is that the hair is very soft and doesn't feel like synthetic hair at all which is definitely a plus. The unit's texture to me is in between medium and thick but not too thin. I feel to me the unit is very full but that all depends on your own level of fullness.  Try not to over brush her and maybe op to finger coming if possible since combing or brushing too much can make the curls fall giving a straight look. I also noticed that there was a little frizz on the top of the wig but I used some wig control spray to tame her or you can even use some water.

Would I purchase this unit again: yes definitely they also carry this unit in many different colors so I may pick up another one maybe in a red.

New Updates: cosmetology school, being a licensed cosmetologist and new makeup/hair tutorials

Hey everyone it's been such a long time since I blogged but thought I start off with what I been up to!

First off I decided to take my love and passion for the beauty industry and turn it into a reality.  I started a really great cosmetology school Graham Webb Academy and now I'm
officially a licensed cosmetologist...yah me

I had a wonderful experience while in cosmetology school and would definitely recommend it to anyone wishing to further their skills in the industry.  One of the most nerve racking thing was taking my stateboard exam to get licensed but I can so I get through it and I'm finally licensed.  I have included some pictures so you guys can see my experiences from
cosmetology school and I also attended the ibs hair show in nyc..... I had a blast!

so lets talk about more tutorials I have coming up for you guys. I have decided to not only include more makeup but as a cosmetologist I want to specialize in more healthy hair growth tips and give you guys valuable info on how to grow an inch of hair a week and
much much more so stay tuned!

Also I appreciate all the love and support from my follwers on the dirtyrichmakeup and I know we are a small community but everyone who follows I appreciate.

also if you live in the dmv area and interested in attending a cosmetology school check out graham webb academy. grahamwebbacademy.edu

DirtyRichMakeup: BOARDWALK EMPIRE SERIES: BILLY KENT INSPIRED MAKEUP

DirtyRichMakeup: BOARDWALK EMPIRE SERIES: BILLY KENT INSPIRED MAKEUP

BOARDWALK EMPIRE SERIES: BILLY KENT INSPIRED MAKEUP

So one of my favorite shows are on right now which gave me some needed inspiration. Boardwalk empire is an explosive and exciting show set in Atlantic City during the prohibition era. The show includes visual style and basis on historical figures like Enoch L. Johnson, Al Capone, and eddie cantor all proment during the 1920 and 1930s. For this makeup series I'm not for sure how many characters I will do a tutorial for but I defintely want to do a creation of both Margaret Schroeder/Thompson and  Gillian Darmody. For doing the look as Billy Kent played by actress Meg chambers Steedle a New York show girl that strikes an interest with main boss man Nucky Thompson as his flapper mistress. Billy screams the boldness and sassyness of flappers in that era!
My look for her is a little bit more creative and dramatic but still can be used for any 1920s look, flapper, or halloween and party look.
